The TLA PlugFest is back! The ADL Initiative will be hosting its second annual TLA PlugFest on 27 July 2023 at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This year’s PlugFest will focus on Total Learning Architecture (TLA) standards which allow data interoperability in the digital learning environment. Miliary and civilian distributed learning leaders who want to learn about TLA technologies and industry partners who want to demonstrate TLA-conformant technologies are welcome to participate.
The TLA PlugFest is a free, one-day hands-on workshop to promote TLA adoption, dialogue, and collaboration among current and potential TLA stakeholders. The agenda will include a TLA standards foundational presentation, an overview of the Learning Ecosystem Maturity Model with guidance on how to use it to track your TLA Journey, plug and play demos, a TLA panel, and a group discussion.
Space is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis with no virtual participation option. Government participants are required to be military and civilian distributed learning leaders who are responsible for policy or acquisition of TLA-conformant DoD learning tools, products, and data. Industry partners must provide distributed learning products and services that comply with TLA standards (such as xAPI, cmi5, and P2881 Learning Metadata).
