This month’s Advanced Distributed Learning iFest conference is focusing on “data-driven learning,” including topics like learning analytics, privacy and cybersecurity of learner data, data interoperability, performance assessment, and related learning science principles. The conference is July 31-August 2 in Alexandria, and is hosted by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA).
Vice Admiral Kevin Scott, director for Joint Force Development (invited) and Kim Peretti, head of Adobe Training Services, Adobe Global Services, will open the event with back-to-back keynotes on Monday afternoon. Other sessions include government and industry Ignite!-style talks, tutorials, panel sessions, and presentations.
iFest gives stakeholders from government, industry, and academia the opportunity to exchange the latest science and technology for distributed learning, during both formal events and several semi-structured networking sessions. Conference fees are complimentary for government and military personnel.
