that demonstrates unique leadership in serving the needs of the distance learning community by providing advocacy, information, networking and opportunity.

The Eagle Award trophy was presented to Dr. Kristy Murray, ADL Initiative Director, on 15 August 2013 during a ceremony at the Society for Applied Learning Technology’s (SALT) Interactive Learning Technologies Conference in Reston, VA. The trophy currently resides at the ADL Co-Lab in Alexandria, VA.




Elearning! Magazine Recognizes ADL

ADL was honored at the 2013 Enterprise Learning! Conference & Expo (ELCE) where it received a Learning! 100 Award from Elearning! Magazine. The Learning! 100 awards recognize organizations for their outstanding learning and development programs, learning culture and performance.

ADL received the award in recognition of its Mobile Training Implementation Framework (MoTIF) project, which is exploring new types of learning and design approaches to take advantage of the capabilities of the mobile platform.

The awards reception and dinner was held on 26 August 2013 in Anaheim, CA. Jason Haag, ADL Mobile Learning Team Lead, accepted the award on behalf of ADL.
