Army civilian leaders earn spots in top development programs

U.S. Army CPE STRI announced two civilian leaders have been selected for highly competitive Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA) Enterprise Civilian Talent Development (ECTD) programs, recognizing their professional accomplishments and potential for broader responsibility.

Brentson Bell Jr., product director for Next Generation Constructive (NGC), was chosen for the Defense Senior Leader Development Program (DSLDP) Cohort and the Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) / Senior Service College for 2026–2028.

The two-year program offers structured learning designed to build an enterprise-wide perspective and strengthen the competencies required to lead within joint, interagency and multinational environments.

Jeremy Lanman, chief of staff for CPE STRI, was selected for the National Defense University – The Eisenhower School (NDU-TES) for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This 10-month program prepares senior military and civilian leaders to address national security challenges through a curriculum spanning strategic policy, technological trends, and evolving global developments.

Both DSLDP and NDU-TES remain cornerstones of the Army’s advanced civilian training and leadership development efforts. Selection for these programs is highly competitive, reserved for the most qualified candidates across the Department of the Army.
