Cultivating Connectivity and Collaborative Innovation to Bring Non-Traditional and Faster Solutions to the Warfighter

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD) and the University of Central Florida (UCF) Research Foundation have partnered to stand up the Central Florida Tech Grove. Tech Grove is a physical and virtual space based in the Central Florida Research Park and designed to help the government and the modeling, simulation, and training and human performance industry collaborate and accelerate the delivery of innovative solutions to the warfighter. The Tech Grove is an engine to accelerate the government’s access to small businesses that the military would not typically access to find non-traditional, leading-edge technologies to advance training and human performance for the military.

Operated through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the Navy, in partnership with the Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps, and the UCF Research Foundation, Tech Grove creates connectivity and collaborations to support innovative solutions addressing the needs of the military. It also provides education, support, and access to small businesses wanting to connect with the Modeling, Simulation & Training industry.
