On July 12, the Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS) welcomed Col. Anthony “ABC” Graham as the new commander of AFAMS during an assumption of command ceremony in Orlando, Florida.
Before taking on this new role, Col. Graham was the vice commander for support of Space Launch Delta 45 at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. Col. Graham graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor of science degree in finance. He was commissioned through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps and entered active duty in 1999. Col. Graham is returning to the Orlando area as he replaces Col. Timothy Beers, who recently retired from the Air Force.
Gen. Travolis Simmons, director of training and readiness and deputy chief of staff for operations at Headquarters United States Air Force, attended the ceremony and officially handed the command over to Col. Graham.
AFAMS is excited to welcome Col. Graham to lead its team and looks forward to continuing its important mission and growing its reputation as the Air Force’s modeling and simulation experts, while driving the exploration for better innovation and interoperability to support warfighters’ capabilities and performance.
