Contract to deliver 13 additional T-6B XR Immersive Training Devices to the U.S. Navy

Vertex Solutions, a leader in advanced learning technology and XR-enabled training systems, announced a follow-on contract from the U.S. Navy to produce and deliver 13 T-6B Immersive Training Device part-task trainers, expanding the Navy’s growing fleet of next-generation training systems. This marks the second delivery order issued under the single-award XR STASC IDIQ and continues Vertex’s Small Business Innovation Research Phase III transition supporting the Navy.

Under the award, Vertex will deliver 13 XR immersive training devices and 50 modernization retrofit kits designed to bring existing Navy devices to a common, updated configuration. Retrofit packages will be fielded at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and Naval Air Station Whiting Field, ensuring consistent performance and readiness across two of the Navy’s busiest undergraduate pilot training locations. All deliveries are scheduled over a 12-month performance period.

The effort accelerates the Navy’s transition to scalable, cost-effective XR training, delivering higher throughput for T-6B pilot production, reducing traditional training bottlenecks and strengthening the Navy’s ability to meet future pilot demand.

Vertex’s XR immersive training devices draw from the company’s history of SBIR innovation in programs such as Project Corsair (T-45C) and the Air Force’s Pilot Training Transformation initiative. With this award, Vertex continues to expand its role in delivering immersive, modular and upgradeable training capabilities to U.S. and allied aviation customers.
