JTIEC Director Kent Gritton briefs DAU fellows on Team Orlando’s mission.
Last month, Jan. 28-29, PEO STRI hosted the SSCF to introduce the group of teachers and students to Team Orlando commands and capabilities, and well as help familiarize them to Service modeling and simulation, training and human performance.
PEO STRI Deputy Chief of Staff, Traci Jones, played a key role in coordinating the visit and said that PEO STRI was pleased to host them. “Team Orlando was proud to showcase our products and services to this highly prestigious group of future senior leaders of the Army,” Jones said. “I believe the group left with a much greater appreciation and understanding of modeling, simulation and training, in addition to the positive impacts that Team Orlando makes to the Army and our sister services.”
The group from DAU heard from several Team Orlando members during their visit.
While visiting, SSCF was briefed by numerous programs within PEO STRI, as well as the U.S. Army Simulation and Training Technology Center, the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation, the Institute for Simulation and Training at University of Central Florida, and Advanced Distribution Learning Initiative.
