Diana Teel to Retire, NAWCTSD Welcomes Erin Goodrich Baker to New Position

Diana Teel, outreach director and Central Florida Tech Bridge director for Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), will officially retire during an Aug. 29 ceremony, successfully ending her 30-year career with the Navy.

Teel started working at NAWCTSD in 1994 as a logistics manager and went on to help establish the sustainment, maintenance and budget concept for the first P-8 Poseidon training systems. She supported fellow NAWCTSD teammates, who motivated her to affect change in the Defense Department with new processes, initiatives and entities.

“I am so proud to be a part of NAWCTSD,” Teel said. “I am always so awed by the intelligence and the professionalism of so many people in the command and what they’re contributing – acquisition, perspective and research perspective. I’m amazed at what goes on within our domain and what we’re able to do. I’m thrilled that I’ve had the opportunity to experience these different challenges and perspectives in the command, in our community, and the Navy.”

Erin Goodrich Baker, the new Central Florida Tech Bridge director/Central Florida Tech Grove program manager for NAWCTSD, assumed Teel’s Tech Grove-related duties in late July. Baker holds a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in science industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Central Florida. She has a background in project management and began working for NAWCTSD in 2018 as a research psychologist.
