Col. Michael Coolican served as Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS) from June 2012 until December 2013.  He recently began his new assignment as the Director, Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate in Quantico, Virginia.  “We will greatly miss his leadership and bid him fair winds and following seas as he begins his new assignment,”  Martin Bushika, Director of Operations, PM TRASYS said.

Team-Orlando-Coolican-webAs part of Marine Corps Systems Command, PM TRASYS serves as the training systems acquisition arm for the Marine Corps, providing all training systems, training environments and training support services to the warfighter for their home station and pre-deployment training requirements. PM TRASYS manages these training systems products and services from receipt of requirement, through development, fielding, sustainment and finally disposition.  Dan Torgler (Deputy PM TRASYS) will be acting PM until Col. Coolican’s replacement is selected.

Team Orlando bids Col. Coolican a fond farewell and wishes him well in his new position.
