Companies from all over the world compete annually in Halldale’s MS&T Simulation and Training Awards program to see if their applications of simulation technology will be evaluated and voted the best innovations in the industry.
Halldale announced the winners of the 2022 MS&T Simulation and Training Awards after receiving a record 64 nominations and more than 8,000 public votes.
The Outstanding A/M/V/XR Application award recognizes the innovative use of AR/MR/VR/XR technologies to develop effective and efficient training and performance support interventions. Application of A/M/V/XR spans a broad continuum ranging from education to individual and team training to individual and team performance support.
In the medium/large category, the winner for this award was Kratos Defense & Security Solutions – Mixed Reality (MR) Mission Readiness Training (MRT) system.
In the small business category, the winner was VRAI – ReACT platform – armor crew VR simulation solution.
The Outstanding Innovative Product award recognizes innovative products that provide enhanced value to the military client’s education, training, or human performance domains.
In the medium/large business category, the Outstanding Innovative Product award winner was Epic Games – Unreal Engine 5.
In the small business category for this award, the winner was Conflict Kinetics Corporation – Synthetic Marksmanship Training Systems (SMTS), aka the Gunfighter Gym.
The Outstanding Serious Game for Learning award recognizes the innovative use of serious gaming technologies to develop effective and efficient education and training and performance support interventions.
The winner of the Outstanding Serious Game for Learning in the medium/large business category was Hadean, and in the small business category, Radius Tech Defence Services Ltd. took top honors.
The Small Business of the Year award recognizes exemplary small businesses in the military S&T domain. The definition of a small business for the purpose of the MS&T awards is “a non-subsidiary, independent firm that employs fewer than 50 employees.” An exemplary small business leverages human capital, innovation and agility to grow and meet client needs, while cultivating a growing technical and social influence in the community.
HTX Labs is the 2022 MS&T Simulation and Training Awards Small Business of the Year.
The final MS&T Simulation and Training Award is the inaugural Outstanding Woman in Defense Training. This award recognizes female professionals from around the globe who continue to make their mark on advancing the S&T defense training enterprise. This inaugural award is presented to Dolly Oberoi, Founder and CEO, C² Technologies (C²TI).
