With just over two weeks left until the 2021 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), Nov. 29-Dec. 3 in Orlando, Florida, the National Training & Simulation (NTSA) Team announced that I/ITSEC is a completely live event, and there will be no virtual platform this year.
“We are very excited to be in person for 2021!” said Debbie Langelier, NTSA vice president. “Our NTSA team, the I/ITSEC planning and leadership committees, the OCCC staff, and all involved are working hard to ensure we have a successful conference, complete with a safe environment for those who are participating in I/ITSEC. Additionally, we are seeing great levels of government participation, which is positive for everyone involved.”
Although there will not be a virtual platform, NTSA will be live streaming some of the main events on their NTSA YouTube channel and will provide details for viewing those events in the very near future. The agenda is available and is divided into sections for easy access, and will be updated as necessary on the website. Also available is also the I/ITSEC mobile app, which can now be downloaded from Apple or Google stores (search I/ITSEC).
This year’s I/ITSEC is in the Orange County Convention Center South Concourse, the building between the Hyatt Regency and Hilton hotels, and kicks off on Monday with exhibits opening from 2 to 6 p.m. Attendees can still register.
The 2021 Service keynotes have been announced: General David H. Berger, Commandant, U.S. Marine Corps, and Admiral Michael M. Gilday, Chief of Navy Operations. Information on these speakers is on the I/ITSEC Keynotes Speaker page.
