SIMETRI is pleased to announce its selection for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) Ignitor of the Year Award.

The award, presented in partnership with the Orlando Magic, recognizes Hispanic-owned companies that have demonstrated a proven record of sustainable growth, created multiple full-time jobs in Central Florida, served as industry leaders and mentors of other Hispanic-owned companies, and led philanthropic efforts in the region.

“As immigrants building a new life here, my parents knew that a strong work ethic and community responsibility were the most important family traditions they could pass on,” said Angela Alban, SIMETRI founder and CEO. “It’s inspiring to see how valuable those same traditions have been in growing an adaptive and innovative technology company. This award honors my family, our SIMETRI family, and the core values that made them both successful.”

SIMETRI will be recognized for the award at two HCCMO events this spring. The first was at Orlando Magic’s “Noche Latina” game on March 26, where SIMETRI was highlighted during halftime. The second is at the HCCMO Ignite Luncheon on May 18.
