The Training and Readiness Accelerator (TReX) II team comprised of the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI)/Future Training Systems, Army Contracting Command-Orlando and Advanced Technology International will present an informational briefing, How to take advantage of Other Transactional Authority (OTA), as part of the Central Florida Tech Grove Project 160 Juice Bar on June 14 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The purpose of the TReX II is to spur innovative development, demonstration and expedited delivery of prototypes to increase warfighter readiness. This is accomplished by streamlining acquisition approach using OTA, and removing barriers and bureaucracy to spur innovation. The goal is to enable rapid prototyping to deliver capabilities into the hands of users faster, allowing the flexibility to spin-off prototypes into follow-on production.

TReX II consortium is a collaboration executed under an OTA with the U.S. Army PEO STRI that addresses critical modeling, simulation and training issues affecting national security.
