Team Orlando and National Center for Simulation announced the first Industry Capability Day of 2015 is Feb. 26.
Applications are now available to any organization or company who would like the opportunity to showcase their latest technologies and/or innovation at the event, which typically includes members from the Team Orlando military Services, Modeling and Simulation Industry and professional association members, as well as University of Central Florida researchers and faculty. More details on this FREE event can be found on the NCS website.
Industry Capability Days were started in 2014 for additional opportunities for Industry and Team Orlando members to come together and share in clever innovations and new partnerships. The event welcomes 12 to 14 companies, who apply on a quarterly basis to participate, to showcase any of their new technologies, and it offers both participants and attendees a casual, intimate environment to visit and learn from one another.
“Industry Capability Day gives the Government an opportunity to see and learn about some upcoming and innovative ideas from Industry, which is always an important step as we continue to improve,” said Rob Matthews, Deputy Technical Director, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, following the success of the first Industry Capability Day. “It also provides an additional forum for all of the Services to discuss what’s working for us and what’s not. That information fuels collaboration across the commands to maximize our resources.”
