PLEXSYS and BAE Systems OneArc formalize partnership as demand grows for advanced synthetic environment and immersive training capabilities

New partnership strengthens integrations in simulated environments to enhance multi-domain training realism for allied forces.

PLEXSYS signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BAE Systems OneArc on the opening day of I/ITSEC 2025 in Orlando, Fla. The agreement formalizes a long-standing relationship between the two companies and sets the foundation for deeper technical integration, co-development, and collaborative engagement with customers worldwide.

 

PLEXSYS’ Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT) 7 environment generator, combined with PLEXSYS’ distributed communications and mission analysis tools, provides a mature and scalable foundation for modeling complex operational environments.

 

OneArc’s VBS4 platform offers a comprehensive virtual desktop training environment that enables the creation and execution of any military training scenario used by forces worldwide.

 

The MoU reinforces the alignment of the shared strengths of PLEXSYS and OneArc. ASCOT 7 acts as the scalable, multi-domain “engine” generating complex activity across air, land, maritime, space and cyber domains, while VBS4 enhances the dynamic visualization of that environment – supporting both individual and collective training use cases. By expanding their integration, PLEXSYS and OneArc can offer a more seamless experience across scenario generation, visualization, and mission execution. For military users, the collaboration aims to simplify integration, reduce friction between tools, and deliver more cohesive training workflows.

 

The MoU also outlines plans for the two companies to deepen their technical integration, develop capabilities that reflect operational needs, and coordinate more closely regarding where their combined tools can benefit customers. The two sides will also stay aligned on future product plans, ensuring continued compatibility and smooth integration as new features and capabilities are introduced.
