NCS Announces Two Upcoming Events

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., National Center for Simulation will host an educational legal round table event focused on (1) joint ventures options and key points to consider when forming a joint venture), (2) IP considerations in joint venture settings, (3) e-discovery and record keeping requirements, and (4) independent contractor/employee considerations.
Attorneys Joe Zitska, Rachel Gebaide, Drew Sorrell, John Gibbs and Courtney Dunn will cover the material and answer questions.
Another event on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. will feature Ed Kinberg, a fellow of the National Contract Management Association. He will discuss DOD’s controversial and challenging new rules designed to protect DOD from receiving counterfeit parts. These rules require contractors of all sizes to implement specific policies and procedures to ensure no counterfeit parts are delivered to DOD. Come hear how these new rules may impact your company.
