The National Center for Simulation and Lou Frey Institute (LFI) of Politics & Government at the University of Central Florida announced their annual charity golf tournament is March 30 at Interlachen Country Club.
Currently the groups are seeking sponsorships for the tournament, which benefits the Vince Amico and Hank Okraski STEM scholarship funds, as well as numerous LFI continuing education programs. LFI’s mission is strengthening civic education in schools to ensure that the next generation of Florida citizens has the knowledge, skills and inclination to be an active part of their community.
All levels from Diamond through Silver include golfers, as well as opportunities for recognition on the course, in the program and/or at the awards party.
The tournament is a shotgun start, includes a buffet brunch, and also a charity lunch and silent auction. Golf prizes include a million dollar hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive, Pro as Your Partner and the infamous NCS Skirt Hole. Mulligans (a maximum of two per player) will also be for sale.
For more information on sponsorships (individual and team registration does not open until Feb. 15), please contact tournament co-chair Brian Holmes at bholmes@aegistg.com, or visit the tournament website.
