NCS Announces Election to Fill Two BOD Seats
On Sept. 30, two members of the NCS Board of Directors terms of service will expire and each of the incumbents is eligible to run for re-election, however the election is also open to other NCS members who are interested in seeking a seat on the BOD for a three-year term. NCS will seek nominees and collect individual information to post to the NCS website until close of business on Friday, Aug. 29.
NCS members in good standing (dues current) who are interested in seeking election to one of the two available BOD seats, should call NCS at 407-384-6111, and should also submit a individual photo, short bio and a paragraph which explains why you would like to serve on the NCS BOD and what you will bring to the Board if elected. This information is posted to the NCS website during the online voting process.

NCS Plans Next Hall of Fame Class
Following a successful inaugural NCS Modeling and Simulation Hall of Fame class, plans are underway to recognize and honor the 2015 class of initiates. NCS announced that nominations will be accepted for Hall of Fame candidates beginning Sept. 1, 2014, and will remain open until close of business Oct. 31, 2014.
A nominee’s field or area of achievement is not limited only to defense, but also for consideration are significant contributions in other areas like medical technology, entertainment, transportation, education, homeland security, gaming and other areas. Detailed information and nomination sheet will be posted on the NCS website on Sept. 1.
