NCS joins Central Florida leaders to share community priorities with legislators
NCS President and CEO Lt. Gen. (Ret). Tom Baptiste, CFO George Cheros, and several NCS board of directors joined a busload of Central Florida leaders for the annual Central Florida Partnership Trip to Tallahassee on Feb. 10 and 11.
This is an important opportunity to be in Tallahassee during the Legislative Session to share Central Florida’s regional priorities: homelessness; manufacturing research; Modeling, Simulation & Training (MS&T); and University of Central Florida initiatives.
The agenda included individual appointments with legislators, a reception in honor of the Central Florida delegation and a special dinner and breakfast meeting with guest speakers.
The “Trip to Tallahassee” is hosted by the Central Florida Partnership and presented in partnership with the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, The Corridor, National Center for Simulation, Orlando Economic Development Commission, and the University of Central Florida.
