Rep. Webster Recognizes NCS

On the occasion of its 20th Anniversary, Rep. Daniel Webster recognized the National Center for Simulation during a General Session of the House of Representatives on March 24, 2014. He congratulated NCS on its past successes and discussed how the organization “fosters relationships between varied communities to help disperse resources and innovations in modeling, simulation and training to those industries which may benefit from the knowledge.” Webster also stressed how “Orlando is a focal point for cooperative and collaborative efforts” and that Orlando is the home to more than 150 industry companies.

NCS Prepares for Golf Tournament in June

Each year, National Center for Simulation hosts a golf tournament to benefit two scholarships: the Vince and Beth Amico Scholarship for Modeling and Simulation at UCF and the Henry C. Okraski Scholarship in Simulation Technology & Robotics at Daytona State College.

This summer, NCS is once again partnering with the Lou Frey Institute for Politics and Government at the University of Central Florida, for the tournament on June 30 at the Interlachen Country Club 2245 Interlachen Court, Winter Park, FL 32792.
