The Navy International Programs Office (NIPO) hosted its Capabilities Development Board at Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida, for the first time, April 18.

NIPO manages and implements international security assistance programs, cooperative development programs, and technology security policy in its mission to build, strengthen and maintain maritime partnerships, while advancing interoperability with a network of nations that encompass the joint services, industry and international partners.

“It was a great opportunity for everyone to see what NAWCTSD and Team Orlando bring to the foreign military sales (FMS) world,” said Navy Capt. Tim James, NAWCTSD and Naval Support Actively Orlando commander. “While NIPO was here, we took advantage to show them some of the organic capabilities we bring to bear, as well as take time for much deserved recognition of some of our FMS superstars.”

Navy Rear Adm. Anthony Rossi, NIPO’s deputy assistant secretary of the Navy (International Programs), attended the event and took part in the recognition of NAWCTSD’s top performers.
