The objective of this event is to assist small businesses in their pursuit of commercialization opportunities resulting from their SBIR Phase I and II Research/Research & Development (R/R&D) work.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Partnership III, room 321 A/B, 3039 Technology Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32826.

The SBIR program is highly competitive and encourages domestic small businesses to engage in Federal R/R&D that has the potential for commercialization. Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIR enables small businesses to explore their technological potential and provides an incentive to profit from its commercialization. By including qualified small businesses in the nation’s R&D arena, high-tech innovation is stimulated and the United States gains entrepreneurial spirit as it meets its specific research and development needs.
