Team Orlando, local Veterans and Active Duty were the fortunate recipients of the Florida Tuskers’ community driven hearts. For the second consecutive year, the team has reached out to the Central Florida military through Team Orlando by providing discount ticket prices, promoting Research Park and honoring Active Duty and wounded Veterans all season.

The Florida Tuskers honored local service members at their Veteran’s Day game against the Hartford Colonials on Nov. 11th. Through their partnership with Team Orlando, the Florida Tuskers set up a military program offering free tickets to all Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists and immediate family members. For their game, deemed “Military Appreciation Night,” the Florida Tuskers invited a local wounded Veteran from the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), Lieutenant Colonel Earle Denton, USA Ret. to participate in the coin toss. Ron Johnson, local retired airman, delivered the game ball.
