Orlando welcomes 11 new Smart Cities Startups in fall 2025 Plug and Play accelerator

From clean energy and smarter mobility to advanced city infrastructure, 11 startups are setting their sights on Central Florida as they join Plug and Play Orlando’s Fall 2025 Smart Cities Accelerator.

Over the next three months, these innovators will work alongside industry leaders, community partners, and investors to refine and scale their solutions. The program, launched in partnership with Orange County Government, Duke Energy, UCF, Odin Energy Solutions, and Tavistock, is part of a broader vision to make Orange County, Florida, a hub for sustainable and technologically advanced cities of the future.

The following startups will be part of batch 4:

• Actualization.AI — AI that reasons over human-written rules to reduce hallucinaotins; launching FairPact for rapid contract understanding.
• Altaport — Transient Operations Management Platform that automates GA airport ops, revenue, and customer experience, ready for today and extensible to AAM vertiports.
• Blue Frontier — Next-gen AC with built-in energy storage for peak-shifting, deep dehumidification, and up to ~90% climate impact reduction.
• DNAlyte — Portable, rapid DNA analysis enabling real-time field decisions in health, environmental safety, and diagnostics.
• EchoTwin AI — Computer-vision + agentic workflows for proactive, self-healing city infrastructure and compliance monitoring.
• Genesis Systems — Patented technologies addressing fresh-water scarcity to strengthen economic and social resilience.
• LuftCar — Hydrogen-powered modular air/road vehicles plus complete AAM ecosystem (vertiports, fueling, demand planning, GIS siting).
• OmniCoreHub — Unified “single pane of glass” that fuses IT/OT/IoT/video into a real-time, decision-ready operating picture.
• PassiveLogic — Physics-informed AI and Quantum digital twins delivering autonomous building controls and next-gen automation.
• SolyX AI — Geo-distributed modular micro data centers (MetaPods™) for AI workloads—commissioned in weeks with no facility water for cooling.
• UrbaniticsAI — Drone CV + LLMs to detect sidewalk/ADA defects and translate inspections into prioritized maintenance actions.

“These startups are tackling challenges that matter to all of us, cleaner energy, efficient transit, and smarter use of resources,” said Rosangela Parker, Program Manager of Plug and Play Orlando. “With the support of our partners, we’re helping turn those ideas into real-world impact.”

The program culminates at Expo on December 9, 2025, where the startups will pitch their innovations to corporate leaders, policymakers, and investors.
