Have you exhibited or been to one of the Team Orlando Industry Capability Days presented by National Center for Simulation? These come-and-go style events feature up to 14 exhibitors and are held multiple times per year – usually quarterly. They are the perfect opportunity for businesses and organizations to share their newest and most innovative products and services with members of Team Orlando.
“We were delighted with the quality of attendees,” said Steve Parrish, government strategic account manager with Laerdal Medical. “Many trade shows and conferences have a lot of people who just do a quick look, but the Industry Capability Day attendees are those with a genuine interest in simulation and have real requirements they are seeking to satisfy. We also noted that they stayed and gave us quality time, meaningful discussion and sincere interest.”
Q4 Services’ head of sales, Joe Radosky, has also exhibited and attended several Industry Capability Days. “The opportunity to be a part of Industry Capability Day has allowed Q4 Services to showcase our products, and at the same time help to educate the end users on the benefits of our direct projection and collimated visual display systems. Plus, we’ve enjoyed the time to build relationships with others in the modeling and simulation industry.”
Silfon Tang, sales director for Medical-X, said it was interesting to learn from the other companies about the products that are being used in the industry. “We made some contacts with other companies for possible future cooperation, and had interest from potential customers as well.”
Interested businesses should complete the Vendor Demonstration Agreement and email it to industryday@simulationinformation.com as soon as possible, as openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. July’s event will be a general Industry Capability Day, which means there are no restrictions on the type of business, specialty or service that might want to participate.
The event is held in the UCF Partnership III Building, 3039 Technology Parkway (Room 321-A/B), Orlando, FL 32826, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
