The National Center for Simulation (NCS) held its second Membership Night of the year on Oct. 4, drawing more than 140 in attendance, including many Team Orlando representatives who spent time networking with industry members, all of whom had the opportunity to hear the latest NCS accomplishments from President and Executive Director Lt. Gen. Tom Baptiste, USAF, (Ret.).

Baptiste welcomed old and new members, introduced the NCS Board of Directors as well as their new chairman Dave Manning, and shared news that growth in membership has been steady, with the addition of 42 new members since the last membership meeting in April. Baptiste also briefed attendees on NCS’s upcoming events, including their partnership with Team Orlando to host 2012 GameTech, as well as their upcoming medical simulation event featuring Florida Hospital’s Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement.
