SIMETRI Selected for SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative

Florida’s North District Office of the Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the selection of SIMETRI, Inc. for its prestigious Emerging Leaders Initiative.

SIMETRI, Inc. is one of only 20 businesses among applicants from 43 counties in the district’s service area.

The SBA’s Emerging Leaders Initiative is an intensive seven-month training course that specifically focuses on the professional development of executives of businesses poised for growth in underserved communities. The program is open to small businesses that have been in business for at least three years, have reached $250K in annual sales, and employ at least one person besides the owner. The SBA added Orlando, Florida, to the list of eligible areas for the program this year.

SIMETRI’s president and chief executive officer, Angela Alban, will attend the free and intensive “MBA-like” training and mentorship program that aims to help small businesses elevate their growth.
