Representatives from 23 allied nations visited Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station during an international allied and coalition engagement focused on expanding cooperation in space operations, launch capabilities and future spaceport development.

The engagement was organized by the World Innovation Network (WIN) for the Defense Technology Innovation Office’s Forge program in collaboration with Space Launch Delta 45, WorldOrlando, the U.S. Department of State, Meridian International Center and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Space Commerce.

WIN for the Defense Technology Innovation Office’s Forge program serves as a collaboration hub connecting government, industry, academia and international partners to support innovation and technology development in support of national security objectives.

The engagement included roundtable discussions at the Sands Space History Center that brought together representatives from academia, industry and government.

Participants also toured the Morrell Operations Center and received an operational briefing from Space Launch Delta 45 personnel to increase familiarity with U.S. launch operations and Space Force missions.

The engagement supports the U.S. Space Force’s international partnership strategy by fostering closer collaboration among allied nations and promoting a shared approach to space security and operations. The effort was designed to move beyond traditional site visits and establish long-term collaboration focused on operational capabilities and future space initiatives.

As a next step, the 45th Weather Squadron plans to conduct a pilot effort involving weather-data integration to support allied spaceport site selection. Future collaboration areas may also include spaceport expansion, responsive launch capabilities and resilient launch architectures.
