Submit your game to the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge
TOPICS & CATEGORIES
It’s what you’ve been waiting to hear: submissions for the 2015 Serious Games Showcase & Challenge are now open!
Could your game be selected as the winner in the business category or even the coveted People’s Choice Award voted on by I/ITSEC attendees?
This year, Serious Games Showcase & Challenge is celebrating its 10-year anniversary as the premier venue for recognition of excellence in the field of Serious Games development, and prides itself on helping foster creativity and innovation.
Information regarding submissions, as well as Challenge rules can be found on the SGS&C website. The submission period closes Sept. 16, after which the SGS&C planning committee conducts a “downselect” process to select finalists. Once selected, finalists are notified so they can start making their plans to attend I/ITSEC!
The Challenge then enters the evaluation period where an esteemed panel of evaluators from all over the world determines the winners of the awards in each category.
Middle and high school students from various school systems will play and evaluate select games to collectively select the winner of the Students’ Choice Award, and I/ITSEC attendees cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award.
SimTECT’s SGS&C winner will join the finalists at I/ITSEC, and for the first time, the winner from The BIG Festival – Brazil’s Independent Games Festival, will also attend as a finalist.
Ready to submit your Serious Game to compete in this year’s SGS&C Challenge? Find out more information on the SGS&C website! Remember the deadline is Sept. 16!
