Get ready for the launch of the AIM on MS&T podcast! This exciting new podcast produced by Team Orlando News will launch on podcasting platforms, Sept. 5.

Powered by Capital Communications & Consulting (C3), AIM on MS&T will spotlight the groundbreaking leaders and innovations shaping Central Florida’s modeling, simulation and training (MS&T) community.

The “AIM” in the podcast’s title stands for academia, industry and military – the primary sectors that drive Orlando’s MS&T space. Each bimonthly episode will explore the latest innovative developments from Team Orlando and their affiliated organizations, discuss industry trends, and keep its audience up to date on current events in the field.

“I’m so excited to add a new platform where the modeling and simulation crowd can get its information,” said Mary Trier, Capital Communications and Consulting’s president and CEO. “We’re always working to improve Team Orlando News as the essential news source for MS&T professionals. Now, it’s even easier to stay informed, whether that’s on your morning or afternoon commute, at the gym, or wherever you enjoy podcasts.”

While Orlando is mostly famous for its theme parks, AIM on MS&T will showcase another key aspect of the city’s vibrant ecosystem – its significant contributions to the MS&T field. The podcast will be a go-to source for further insights into Central Florida’s second-biggest industry.

In 1950, the Army and the Navy agreed to work together in the area of training devices, and that decision to work together expanded throughout the years to include all military services. Today, Team Orlando involves members throughout government, industry and academia, and it continues to develop as core members explore new ways to bring creativity and innovation to the programs and systems that improve the military’s readiness.

C3 has been telling the Team Orlando story since selected as its public affairs team in 2010, and the evolution of Team Orlando has motivated C3 to find new ways to creatively tell its story and advance the MS&T industry’s objectives. Working as an amplifier, Team Orlando News and C3 have worked closely with Team Orlando board members and military public affairs offices to gather relevant news stories and share them with the modeling and simulation field.

Team Orlando News continues to tell the compelling stories of collaboration between the military services, industry and academia to advance, improve and build the simulation and training industry for warfighters and the vertical market sectors.

“It’s been an honor to tell Team Orlando’s story for as long as we have, and we’re looking forward to adding AIM on MS&T as another option for our audience,” Trier said. “Moving forward, I can’t wait to see how we develop this new medium to connect with our community.”
