Tomorrow’s Synapse Orlando 2021 is brings together the “doers, creators, innovators, and thought leaders, ” including a Team Orlando panel to talk through DoD opportunities, as Orlando is recognized as one of the world’s fastest growing innovation communities and hottest destinations to live, work and play.”

As part of this year’s all-day agenda, the modeling, simulation and training (MS&T) industry will be front and center during the “Opportunities for Innovating with DoD” breakout session. As a $6 BILLION industry right here in Central Florida, the MS&T industry, the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, are already focused on innovative capabilities and solutions. Synapse Orlando dovetails with that focus and highlights the evolving needs for MS&T and other sectors.

Critical technology areas for the industry include artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, cybersecurity, sensors, data analytics, 5G applications, learning sciences, game development, human performance, autonomous technologies; and other technologies.

This session, which takes place on Friday at 2:30 p.m. on the Stax Breakout Stage, Tier 1, will feature moderator Beverly Seay, Southeast Regional Director for the National Security Innovation Network; Dr. David Stargel, Technical Director for the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS); Dr. Jeremy Lanman, Chief Technology Officer for Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI); and Tim Welch, Instructional Systems Specialist at Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD).

Even if you’ve never done business with the Department of Defense, this session will provide opportunities about initiatives that potentially impact your innovations and may lead to new lines of business for your organization.

There’s still time to register for Synapse Orlando.
