The National Training and Simulation Association will hold 2024’s Training & Simulation Industry Symposium (TSIS) in Orlando, Florida, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando from June 12 to June 13.

TSIS is one of the more significant gatherings for the modeling, simulation and training (MS&T) community held every year, and second only (in Florida) to the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference, often referred to by industry professionals as “I/ITSEC.”

This conference has a heavy focus on defense and security themes. It seeks to provide the MS&T community with opportunities to connect with procurement officials for training and simulation products/services from the U.S. armed forces. Industry representatives aim to identify insights regarding near-term and long-term opportunities, which are typically discussed during Q&A sessions and panel discussions. Various presentations and briefs also update participants on acquisition strategies, timing, and funding levels as they relate to their companies’ business interests.

The first day of this year’s agenda focuses mostly on Navy and Marine Corps presentations. Sessions with a greater emphasis on Army and Air Force programs will take place on the second day. TSIS 2024’s schedule also features four industry panels, multiple breaks for networking, and an exhibit hall where attendees can see demonstrations highlighting the latest advances in modeling and simulation technology. Be advised that the current agenda is subject to change.

Parties who are interested in becoming a sponsor or exhibitor at this year’s conference should contact Shannon Burch at sburch@NTSA.org, or Holly Gallier at hgallier@NTSA.org.
