Virewirx unveils VX60 Portable – 60 GHz mmWave for latency-free XR experiences anywhere

When challenged to address issues surrounding the lengthy set-up and calibration traditionally present in pop-up wireless virtual reality (VR) arenas for an event, Virewirx engineers conceived of VX60 Portable, a solution that requires minimal hardware and delivers the same extraordinary performance available in the Virewirx VX60 Ultra permanent installation. The VX60 Portable is Virewirx’s patented, mmWave technology engineered to provide optimal free-roam wireless VR experiences in challenging networking environments.

The VX60 Portable boasts high fidelity visuals for PCVR, speeds of 2+ gbps, ultra-low latency that aids in eliminating motion sickness, multi-user support able to host up to 16 concurrent users, while being interference-free and taking less than an hour to assemble and initialize.
