Babcock International Group (Babcock) unveiled its new state-of-the-art immersive training product, the Babcock Immersive Training Experience’s (BITE), to the U.S. market at the annual Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, Florida.
BITE replicates the intensity of the battlefield environment, exposing warfighters to physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges via seismic simulation, visual stimuli, and environmental effects. These features help bridge the gap between the sterile classroom and complex live operations. As a result of its modular, scalable and deployable design, BITE can be exploited globally, speeding up mission readiness.
At I/ITSEC, Babcock finalized arrangements with U.S. partners which ensure a sound and efficient route to delivery for U.S. customers.
“We are excited to be in Florida showcasing BITE, which can transform individual and collective training by bridging the gap between the sterile classroom and complex life operation,” said Jo Rayson, managing director for Babcock’s training business. “Our established and new relationships with U.S. partners provide a foundation for U.S. customers to access the leading-edge training technologies which BITE offers.”
