Army Contracting Command (ACC)-Orlando recently updated its Procurement Acquisition Lead Time (PALT) Update Session schedule for 2022.
Under the current information delivery format, interested parties must search for “PALT Update Session” on SAM.gov under “Contract Opportunities” to see each PALT announcement, which contains the required registration instructions. Once registered, participants will be provided with a Microsoft TEAMS link to attend that month’s live and virtual event.
ACC-Orlando will host June’s PALT Update Session in conjunction with the 2022 Training and Simulation Industry Symposium (TSIS), held at the Rosen Centre Hotel, Orlando, Florida. The PALT session is currently scheduled for 11:20 a.m., June 16. The live-only session will feature the ACC-Orlando Executive Director/Senior Contracting Official, Deputy Executive Director, Director of Operations, and four Division Chiefs. Attendees are encouraged to confirm the time upon their arrival at the conference.
To attend the June 16 live PALT Update Session, individuals must register for and attend TSIS.
While there is no separate registration for the June PALT Update Session, industry partners are encouraged to submit their questions in advance. For June’s session, submit questions at https://einvitations.afit.edu/inv/index.cfm?i=665883&k=046747017354. ACC-Orlando will close this link for questions on June 10, 2022.
On inquiries, ACC-Orlando requests specific questions rather than listing a program acronym or name. “This will greatly facilitate our Division Chiefs in providing focused, accurate answers during the session,” said ACC-Orlando. Questions received in advance will be addressed first, with the remaining time dedicated to questions from the floor.
Information to be provided by the Government during the PALT Update session will be limited to status updates pertaining to specific procurements. The Government will not provide procurement-sensitive information that would violate the integrity of the source selection process.
Updated versions of the ACC-Orlando Workload P.O.C. Chart and Customer Contracting Common Operating Picture (C3OP) will continue to be uploaded to the ACC-Orlando public website on a monthly basis. Questions regarding specific programs of interest after PALT Update Sessions may be addressed to the applicable Contracting Officer directly.
Future 2022 PALT Update Sessions will be communicated via the sam.gov website. ACC-Orlando will continue to monitor the COVID situation to ensuring the safety of the workforce, requiring activity counterparts, and industry partners.
